Disney General Entertainment Content (DGEC) is one of The Walt Disney Company's five major business segments. It was formed on October 12, 2020 as part of Disney's media and entertainment structure reorganization which focuses on creating general entertainment episodic and original long-form content for the Company's streaming platforms and its cable and broadcast networks.[1][2]
