Diurnal and nocturnal signs

In astrology, the signs of the zodiac are classified as diurnal or nocturnal. Diurnal signs have natural positions on the southern hemisphere of the horoscope (represented at the top of the chart), and nocturnal signs have natural positions on the northern sphere.[citation needed] Astrologers treat diurnal signs as masculine, and nocturnal signs as feminine.[1] The diurnal signs are:[2]
