History

Diversion Books was established in 2010 by publishing executive Scott Waxman after his career as a literary agent and editor. In 2015, Publishers Weekly noted that Diversion Books began as an e-book imprint before evolving into a publisher in all formats, and that early acquisitions included a five-book paranormal romance series by author Kristin Cast.[1]. In 2024, Diversion was rated one of Publishers Weekly fastest growing publishers[2].
