The Divyang Premier League (DPL) was a private cricket league organized by Divyang Cricket Control Board of India that played at Sharjah International Stadium, Sharjah, UAE. Its first season was played in April 2020 between 6 teams Rajasthan Rajwade, Mumbai Ideals, Chennai Superstars, Gujarat Fighters, Delhi Challengers and Kolkata Knight Fighters named upon major Indian cities. The matches were played in the Twenty20 format. While its establishment was planned post-dated the Indian Premier League in 2019, but the DPL was successfully organized in 2020.

Future Plan
After the Divyang Premier League season 1, Divyang Cricket Control Board of India is planning to organize the 2nd season in January or February 2022 at Sharjah/ Dubai/ Abu Dhabi International Cricket Stadium, UAE.
Many international cricketers will play from the next edition of Divyang Premier League. Also it has been decided in a meeting with the officials of DCCBI and DPL headed by the General Secretary of DCCBI Haroon Rasheed and CEO Ghazal Khan that 2 more teams will be added from the next edition of DPL. So, total 8 teams will participate in DPL T-20.
