Dmitry Zapolskiy
Dmitry Nikolaevich Zapolsky (December 31, 1958 – August 8, 2021) was a Soviet and Russian journalist, political analyst, and TV presenter. He was a politician, deputy of the Lensovet 21st convocation[citation needed]. He was an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Human Philosophy at RSPU[citation needed]. He was a Professor at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation[citation needed]. He was the author of the book "Putinburg"[citation needed].
Death
On August 8, 2021, Zapolsky’s wife Elizaveta announced on his Facebook page that he had died in Riga while traveling with his family. The cause of death is presumed to be a blood clot.[1] The post mortem examination showed that the cause of death was myocardial infarction.
