Doc is an upcoming American medical drama television series that is scheduled to premiere in the 2024–25 season on Fox.
Premise[edit]
The series centers on the hard-charging, brilliant Dr. Amy Elias, Chief of Internal and Family Medicine at Westside Hospital in Minneapolis.

Development[edit]
On February 16, 2023, Fox announced that they were developing an adaptation of the Rai 1 series Doc – Nelle tue mani, the original Italian series upon which the series is based was created by Francesco Arlanch and Viola Rispoli.[1] On April 3, 2023, it was announced that the adaptation has been picked up for a full series.[2] Doc has been moved to the 2024–25 season due to strike-related production delays.[3]
Casting[edit]
On December 19, 2023, Molly Parker was cast as Dr. Amy Elias in the lead role.[4] On March 4, 2024, Omar Metwally, Amirah Vann, Jon Ecker and Anya Banerjee are set as series regulars, and Scott Wolf and Patrick Walker will recur in the series.[5]
