Doctor Bakshi is an upcoming Bengali Psychological thriller film directed by Saptaswa Basu[1] and produced by Saptarshi Sen[2][3]. Parambrata Chatterjee plays the title role and Subhashree Ganguly, Bonny Sengupta, Maahi Kar in other pivotal roles in the film.[4][5] This is not the sequel of 2021 Bengali film Pratidwandi by the same director, whereas Saswata Chatterjee played the role of Dr. Bakshi earlier.[6][7]
Plot
It is a revenge drama involving a few characters. A novelist, Mrinalini, goes for a short outing in a heritage hotel. A murder happens in this hotel. Doctor Bakshi fights against medical mafias and scams. A dancer, Shradhha, and another doctor, Harish Jain, have their dark pasts which are connected with the murder mystery. Bakshi tries to solve this mystery by his unique methods.[6]
