Nkwanga Geoffrey (born July 14, 1997), popularly known as Dokta Brain, is a Ugandan reggae Afrobeat artist. He was the first child of Thomas and Elizabeth Geoffrey, born in the Iganga District of Uganda's Eastern Region. He is a recording artist, stage performer, and versatile songwriter.[1] He officially joined the music industry in 2014 after graduating high school. Geoffrey recorded his viral single Team Kamooli in 2015, followed by collaborations with other musicians such as Energy with Gavana Cymo, Oli kuki with Sheebah Karungi, Run di Town with Fille Mutoni, Nvaako with Nina Roz, Dembele rmx with A Pass, and All stars like Omulembe gwaffe with Promoter Brian, Nze Nkuba with DJ Brian, and Tonjooga with Ibra Buwembo. He released his first album Elizabella in 2017. As a songwriter he has written songs for other musicians. These include Musawo, Magic, and Olaba Otya by Winnie Nwagi;, Kisasi Kimu, Binkolera, Beera Nange, and Omwoyo by Sheebah Karungi;[2] Yo Sweet by Rema Namakula; Nakupenda, Katijjo and Sabula by Fille Mutoni; and Olinda Ki by Lydia Jazmine. Lately, he teamed up with Ken Hatim to make Hatim & Dokey (DoorKey), the two making music as a HD MUSIC Ug, a duo signed to Subwami Empire. Currently, he is working at DealDone Academy as CEO and top songwriter, where he intends to nurture young musical talents.
