History
Originally released as aeDating. The last aeDating version was '4.1 IQ' when it was acquired by BoonEx in 2005 and transformed into a social network script.
In 2006, Dolphin 5.0 was released. After several updates within a year it became Dolphin 5.6.
In 2007, Dolphin 6.0 was released. Flash audio/video features were included into the package by default.
In 2008, Dolphin 6.1 was released. Pages builder and forum integration.[1]
In the end of 2009, Dolphin 7.0. Modules system, iOS app, Android app (some time later).[2]
In 2013, Dolphin 7.1. Quality, simplification and vector icons.[3]
In 2015, Dolphin 7.2. Responsive template, homepage Timeline, HTML5 uploaders.[4]
In 2016, Dolphin 7.3. Rocket.Chat integration, OAuth2 server, enhanced Timeline.[5]
In 2019, Dolphin 7.4. PHP 7 support, user data export for GDPR compliance.[6]
