Domenick Louis Nati Jr. is an American publicist[1] and former radio personality.[2] He is mostly known for his work as a celebrity publicist[3], but Nati also had an extensive career in television and film production.[4]

Career

Television and Film Production

Nati moved to Charlotte, NC in August 2005 and worked on Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby to assist Judd Apatow[5]. After the film was completed, Nati began working on several television shows including: Deal or No Deal[6], Hell's Kitchen (U.S. TV series)[7], Flip That House[8], Beauty and the Geek[9], Making the Band[10], So You Think You Can Dance[11], and Bad Girls Club[12]. While working in television and film production, Nati's ability to obtain and maintain media relationships earned him the nickname, “The King of Contacts”.[13]

Publicist

Nati opened his own public relations firm, Nati Celebrity Services (Nati Celebs), in 2006.[14] His first client was NBA player Brevin Knight[15] and he continued in sports by assisting with various NASCAR charities such as the Jimmie Johnson Foundation[16], and Jeff Gordon Children's Foundation.[17] He later went on to work with actors and recording artists such as: Boris Kodjoe[18], Warren G[19], Pauly Shore[20], and DMX.[21]

DMX

Nati is mostly known for his work with rapper DMX.[22] Nati began working with DMX in August 2011 after DMX’s prison release.[23] Nati is known to give statements to the media defending his client when he was in legal trouble.[24] Nati also arranged several television appearances for DMX including his controversial interview with Dr. Phil.[25]

The DomNnate Radio Show

In 2013, Nati created The DomNnate Radio show with his brother-in-law Nate Foutz.[26] The show began in January 2013 on WKHF in Lynchburg, VA.[27] The show was known for its controversial celebrity interviews with Ted Nugent[28], Aubrey O’Day[29], and Bill Cosby.[30] The show was cancelled in April 2013 due to its off-color comedy and former radio personality.[31]

Personal Life

Nati married Rebecca[32] Ann Andrusky in Gulf Breeze, FL on April 4, 2003. The two met at bible school and lived in several cities in America before settling in Rebecca’s hometown of Lynchburg, VA.[33] While living in Charlotte, NC, the couple had a son Noah (born July 5, 2007).[34]
