Dominikaner[edit]

Dominikaner is a German beer brand and is  produced in Thuringhia region in Germany.[1]

Beers produced[edit]

Dominikaner Pils is a bottom-fermented beer, brewed in the pilsner lager style. With a tangier and stronger hop-flavor, it is among the most popular kinds of beer in Germany.

Dominikaner Weizenbier is a top-fermented beer, with high quality wheat and barley malt. The beer is unfiltered, preserving the mild yeast flavor and providing the typical cloudiness of wheat beer.

Dominikaner Radler is a mixed drink made out of lemonade and beer. All the varieties are brewed according to the German purity law.[1]

Trademark & History[edit]

The trademark “Dominikaner-Bräu” was first registered in 1895 and since 2010 the brand rights were transferred to Convivo GmbH, a Lekkerland company.

Convivo GmbH owns trademark rights for both “Dominikaner-Bräu” and “Dominikaner” wordmarks.[2]

The Monk[edit]

The Dominikaner Monk, still used in the labels of the brands, was first registered as a trademark in 1906 and transferred to Convivo GmbH in 2010.[3]
