"Dumuria College" is a college situated on 1.5 acres of land on the northern side of the Bhadra River, on the southern side of the Khulna-Satkhira Highway. Upazila Hospital on the west side and Dumuria Market on the east side have a pond and garden with a built-in hostel and a large pond with a playground and mosque in front.
History
1/1/5 AD: The then Deputy Commissioner Mr. Nuruddin Al Masud laid the foundation stone of Dumuria College.
Building and Education Activities
Since its inception, the college has opened humanities, commerce, and science departments. All the subjects of History, Economics, Mythology, Social Welfare, Social Science, Psychology, Sanskrit, Geography, Commerce, Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, and all other subjects. Graduate classes were opened in this college from 1-6 academic years. At the undergraduate level, currently B, A, B, S, S, B, B, S and B, S, C classes are approved. The present college is a full degree college. Apart from this, HSC (Business Management) has been teaching in the curriculum since the academic year from 6-8. Apart from this, the HS, C, BA and B, S, S programs are run by the open university. Currently, there are 5 teachers and teachers working. Of them, the principal was 1, the vice-principal 1, the assistant professor 5, the lecturer 1, the physician teacher 1, the librarian 1, the assistant librarian 3, the demonstrator 1, and the computer demonstrator 1.
