Ugochukwu Onyeocha-Edmund (born April 8, 1974) professionally known as Don Coleone, is an Afrobeat/Afropop Nigerian singer and songwriter from Ikeduru, Imo state. He is the founder of Don Coleone Cribx Records.[1][2]
Background
Don Coleone was born in Inyishi Ikeduru LGA, Imo State, Nigeria. He went to Inyishi Community Primary School Ikeduru, then proceeded to Amaimo High School for his secondary education.[3] He graduated from Middlesex University UK, Dubai Campus where he studied Accounting and Finance.[4][5]
Career
In 2012, he became interested in music and was encouraged by his family to pursue it. He was featured in a song titled “Today na Today" by Sym19. In 2018, he released his single "Chassis".[6] In 2019, "Runaway".
In 2020, he released "Peper-Everywhere".[7][8] and "Boredom Bounce" Featuring Zlatan Ibile.[9][10][11] He has songs like "Truth" and "Want", which debuted on tooXclusive. In May 2020, he was featured with Davido in a song titled "Set Awon".
Don Coleone cited Sean Combs, Birdman and Marlon Brando as his inspirations.[12]
