Don Snell (30 May 1949 - 2 December 2006) was an American actor, writer, singer, and entrepreneur who had roles in Traffic (2000), Erin Brockovich (2000), and The West Wing.[1]
Snell was born in Houston Texas in 1949 but grew up in San Antonio and graduated Trinity University with a Theater Arts degree.
While living in Houston in the 70's and using skills he acquired from costume design classes while attending Trinity University, Snell started making luggage and bags from excess material at a tent and awning business he owned. The bags and luggage quickly turned into the main product line and he renamed the business to Jon Hart Design.[2] Snell sold the business in the 1980s to focus on his acting career.
Snell was perhaps most well known for his one-man show A Private Spirit - A Celebration of the Music and Wit of Noël Coward which toured the US and played a five-week run at the Tiffany Theater in L.A. in 2000.[3]
