Born in Margherafelt as Donal Gerard MacAuley, he is a young actor from Tyrone. He is mainly known for featuring in many musicals. He attended Integrated College Dungannon, where he studied; Performing Arts, Moving Image Arts and Art & Design at A Level.

Early Life[edit]

Donal grew up in Cookstown before moving at the age of 5. He attended Craic Theatre Coalisland where he started his acting career.

At age 10 Donal completed his confirmation where he chose Pio as his middle name, now being called Donal Gerard Pio MacAuley.

Donal is also very fond of Shawn Mendes.

Coming Out[edit]

On May 1st 2015 Donal intially came out as gay. Donal was creative through his eperience, such as using hangman as a gateway to tell his friend Kasia Kozuch. The follow year in October he publicly uploaded on his Snapchat story saying, "I'm gay, and that's ok."

Work Life[edit]

Donal started off working in Adore Jewellery before it closed down in early 2014. After this Donal worked on a casual contract selling balloons from Bolton's Balloons. Donal has also work for a large coffee chain, before being fired in November of 2017. Donal then had employment with Poundland, though quit shortly after, due to his A-Levels. However he enjoyed his experience.
