Donald J. Robertson is an Scottish author and cognitive-behavioural psychotherapist. He is best known for his book on stoicism How To Think Like A Roman Emperor: The Stoic Philosophy Of Marcus Aurelius. He has also written the young adult and juvenile graphic novel Verissimus: The Stoic Philosophy of Marcus Aurelius. He worked as a psychotherapist for twenty years in London, England, where he had a clinic in Harley Street, and ran a training school for therapists. He emigrated to Canada in 2013 and began focusing more on writing and consultancy.
