Style[edit]

Donald Pliner shoes and accessories are known for their quality and comfort. The frequent use of elastic and crepe elastic materials, and Pliner's creation of an all-elastic shoe in 1994, led to the brand becoming known for “anything with stretch.”[8][9][10]

Past Donald Pliner designs include woven styles, sandals, and shoes embellished with peace signs and skulls.[11] Classic design elements of Donald Pliner shoes include stretch leather and elastic, beaded embellishments, and whipstitching.[12]

Celebrity Clientele[edit]

Celebrities wearing Donald Pliner shoes have included celebrity Chef Bobby Flay, NBA All Star Shaquille O’Neal, and writer Tracy DeMarzo Shapiro.[13][14][15][16]
