Club career

He achieved the Best & Fairest 5 times for the Bombers in 1998, 2001, 2003, 2004, and 2005. [1] In 2003, he was voted best and fairest of the Californian Australian Football League.

International career

Since 1999, Lucero has been a part of the Revolution, the United States national Australian Rules team. In 2005, he captained the United States National Team in the Australian Football International Cup. He led the Revolution to a third-place finish, and was one of two Revolution players selected to the tournament's All-Stars team.[2][3]

Adonias is recognized as one of the best players to learn and play the game outside of Australia. Playing mostly in the back line and on the ball, the veteran is known for strong overhead marks and accurate kicking.[citation needed]

As well as his achievements in Australian rules football, Donnie has actively served in the United States Marine Corps.[2][4]
