Donte Carey (born July 6, 1993) is an American football safety who is currently a free agent. Carey played college football at Grand Valley State University.[1] Carey went undrafted in the 2017 NFL Draft. Carey was signed by the Cleveland Browns on May 15, 2017.[2] He was released by the Browns two days later, getting cut from the 90-man roster after the Browns signed Jason McCourty.[3] On March 5, 2019, Carey was assigned to the Philadelphia Soul of the Arena Football League (AFL). He was placed on reassignment on April 13, 2019.
