Doppler the Weathercat

Doppler the Weather Cat (name sometimes humanized to Doppler T. Weathercat, c. 1996–2014) was an American orange tabby cat. Doppler served as an on-air mascot for Syracuse, New York TV station WSTM-TV's meteorology department from the time of his adoption from the SPCA in the mid-1990s until his retirement from television on September 12, 2013.[1]
Doppler's death was announced February 11, 2014.[2]
