Dos Por Dos (lit. Two By Two) was a radio talk show on DZMM in the Philippines. It broadcasted from Mondays to Fridays from 5:30pm to 6:30 pm, simulcast on TeleRadyo and The Filipino Channel worldwide.[1]
Final hosts[edit]
- Anthony Taberna (2003–2020)
- Gerry Baja (2003-2020)
History[edit]
Before the show was formed in 2003, the two co-hosts have been together in radio in DZMM.
They have hosted together in “Ito ang Radyo Patrol.” in 1999. Followed by “Gising Pilipinas,” until “Dos Por Dos.”
The first edition premiered on 2003 as a morning program with only 30 minutes of airing before it expanded to one hour in 2006 with an afternoon edition premiered the same year, with the morning edition being cancelled on 2013 as Anthony Taberna became a full-time host of Umagang Kay Ganda.[2]
About[edit]
The show offers an analysis of the current issues of the country with seriousness and wit from the perspective of the two of the best broadcast journalists.
The program's spontaneity provides room for a lighter discussion of pressing issues, though clever and intellectuality.
