Doski

Doski is one of the largest tribe in the Kurdistan predominantly in Northern Iraq and South Turkey.

Historically, the Doski tribe had their own Kurdish emirate. The Marwanids or Dustakids (983/990-1085, Kurdish: میرنشینی مەروانی) were a Kurdish Sunni Muslim dynasty in the Diyar Bakr region of Upper Mesopotamia (present day northern Iraq/southeastern Turkey) and Armenia, centered on the city of Amid (Diyarbakır).

They are the oldest tribe in Duhok and are largest in the Badinan region. Known for their political power and forces in the Peshmerga. Along with major roles in the Iraqi government.
