Dough Related Productions is a Perth-based Australian independent record label, founded by hip hop artist B-Nasty and JAYSNBRWN, that began operation in 2015.[1]
History[edit]
Dough Related Productions started in 2015 as a series of hip hop events designed to give local artists and DJs a platform to perform.[2]
After a multitude of local artists being signed in 2016, Dough Related released its first L.P., co-founder B-Nasty's debut album The End of the Beginning. It received airplay on both local and international radio.[3]
In 2018 Dough Related created a sister label, Heart 8 Records. Its first release was "Take You" Perth R&B singer Tyler Rivers debut single.[4] It was distributed by Warner Music Australia.[5]
In 2019, co-founder DJ Jaysnbrwn was selected as an official ARIA Club Chart DJ.[6]
