Douglas Budin (born January 6, 1969), also known as Doug Budin, is an American actor, marketeer, and raconteur known for Because I Said So (2007), Modern Family (2009), and 2 Broke Girls (2011).[1] He is the co-creator of a show, Common Knowledge.[2][3]
Early life and education[edit]
Budin was born and raised in New York City, New York, USA[1][4], and graduated from the Friends Seminary (1987). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Clark University (1987-1991)[5] and completed his graduate work at The Classic Stage Company Conservatory in New York City (1993).

Film, TV and stage[edit]
Budin has appeared on Modern Family, Privileged, and Friends and Frasier.[1][6] Other notable appearances include 2 Broke Girls and the film Because I said So with Diane Keaton.[1][7] On stage, he co-created and co-starred with Randall Rapstine in the comedic two-man show Common Knowledge[3] at Lillian Theater[7] and Downstairs Cabaret Theatre.[8] With Common Knowledge, he was presented at 2004's New York International Fringe Festival.[2]
Budin is a Co-host on Jeff Lewis Live on Andy Cohen's SiriusXM channel RadioAndy.[1][9] He created a weekly Instagram Live cooking show, Cook & Kibbitz featuring his friends and other notable personalities.[6]
Marketing[edit]
Budin served as a director of LGBTQ marketing and experiential strategy at boutique LGBTQ agency, SPI Marketing.[4] In 2003, he joined SPI Marketing as a Marketing Manager and became the Director of Marketing in 2007.[5] Budin is an Associate Consultant at Fowlkes Consulting.[4]

Budin regularly serves as a guest on podcasts, including Pink Shade, This is Happening!, and Jeff Lewis Has Issues.[10] He was a contributor at the 2016 CBS Diversity Showcase in Los Angeles.[11]
