Dove Science Academy High School OKC is a tuition-free public charter high school in the Warr Acres neighborhood of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It is part of the Dove Schools charter district and serves students in grades 8–12. The campus emphasizes a college-preparatory, STEM-oriented curriculum (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) and operates an accelerated program in which many students complete required high-school credits early and have opportunities for concurrent/college-level coursework in their senior year.[2][3]
History
Dove Science Academy High School in Oklahoma City opened as part of the Dove Schools expansion from its original middle-school campus. The school first operated grades 6–8 in the 2001–2002 school year with approximately 250 students. The following year, it began offering grades 9–12. Today, the school offers a full 8–12 program, accelerated college-preparatory coursework, and participates in district STEM initiatives and competitions.[4]
Relocation
The school was historically located at 919 NW 23rd Street, Oklahoma City.[5] In January 2025, Dove Schools announced plans to develop and occupy the former Hertz complex at 5601 Northwest Expressway in Warr Acres. The 21.5-acre campus was once home to the largest employer in the State of Oklahoma.[6][7] At the start of the 2025–2026 school year, the high school began operating from the new campus and announced plans to construct a gymnasium and multi-use athletics field.[8]

Dove Science Academy High School OKC offers a STEM-focused curriculum, including honors and Advanced Placement courses, engineering and computer science electives, and extracurricular STEM programs such as robotics teams and participation in MathCounts, Science Olympiad, FIRST LEGO League, and FIRST Tech Challenge.[9]
