Ron Rosedale, MD, grew up in Chicago, and in 1977, he graduated with a medical degree from Northwestern Medical School. After working with one of the world's top cardiovascular epidemiologists in 1977, he started doing his personal research on insulin. His clinical research [1] started in 1990s and the main objective of the research was to provide evidence that aging, and age-related diseases, were associated with corrupted metabolic and hormonal signaling resulting in elevated levels of glucose, insulin, and leptin, such that body fat wasn’t being properly burned as fuel.

In 2005 Dr. Rosedale published a book about the diet he recommends.

Dr. Rosedale is a often a guest speaker at health conferences and events.[2]
