Script error: No such module "AfC submission catcheck". Dr. Shambhunath Singh Research Foundation (SRF) is a non-governmental organization working in Uttar Pradesh, India. The organization is working on the ground level towards integrated community development. SRF has directly and indirectly intervened on various social issues such as child rights & development[1][2][3][4], women empowerment[5], gender issues[6], human rights[7][8], education[9][10] and environment protection[11]. Bal Paharua[8][12] and 1 step 2 stop child marriage[13] are some of the campaigns which claims to have stopped more than 20 child marriages in Uttar Pradesh.[14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22]

Over the years SRF has collaborated with various national and international partners such as Government of India[23], Plan India[24][25], CRY[26][27][28][29][30][31][32], Child Line[33], SIFPSA[34], and IGSSS[35] etc.

SRF was founded in 1991 by Mr. Rajeev Kumar Singh[36][37] and Dr. Rolee Singh[38][39][40][41] by getting inspiration from a renowned literary figure and social activist late Dr. Shambhunath Singh. The foundation was laid by the former Prime Minister of India Mr. Chandra Shekhar, on November 9, 1989. The organization was registered under section 21 of the ‘Societies Registration Act’ on December 31st, 1991.[42]

Currently SRF is working for the relief of COVID-19 patients in Varanasi by providing various essential services such as tele-health, medical and ration kits, oxygen concentrators, ambulance services, equipped with life saving devices etc.[43][44]
