Dr Barindra Das (born 16th March, 1977), A young writer of Assamese Literature, Teacher, Researcher born in a very rural family Sc(Koirbartta) of Chabua, Dibrugarh, Assam. from childhood he starts writing. But latter on he realized that for self dependence Academic engagement is urgent and till now he devotes his teaching and research activities. He Completed his MA in economics from Dibrugarh University, done his M.Phil. from a central university of Assam situated at Silchar (Assam University) and done PhD from again Dibrugarh University. though his background is from Economics yet his early writings published as "Diary Pator Pora" and received Rajani kanta Gogoi awards from Asom Sahitya Sabha. His another book of poem "Buddha Briksh" received "Kabya Pran Sujauddin Ahmed award" from All Assam Poets Association.
