Jane Suiter is the Director of the Institute for Future Media, Democracy and Society at Dublin City University.[1]. She is known for her contributions to deliberative democracy and in particular for her work on the Irish Citizens' Assembly, We The Citizens (2016-2018). In 2019 she was awarded the prestigious Brown Democracy Medal[2]. In 2020 she was named the Irish Research Council's Researcher of the Year.[3]
Dr Suiter is a former journalist, having worked as Economics Editor at The Irish Times[4]
