Dr Manzoorul Abedin.[1] is currently an Associate Professor in Education and Interdiscplinary Studies at the University of West London, UK[2]. He has had working experience in several funded national and international projects in teacher professional development and research-informed practice[1]. Manzoor works as a consortium member of the LASAR (Learning about Science and Religion) Centre at Canterbury Christ Church University where he contributes for the Epsitemic Insight project[3]. Manzoor has worked with international school leadership research with WISE, Qatar Foundation making field visits to countries in Africa[4]. Between 2015 and 2018, Manzoor worked in a number of classroom dialogue projects at the University of Cambridge, UK, including in CamTalk[5] and CamSTAR[6]. Manzoor's main research interests are: sociological variables in education, classroom dialogue, epistemic insight, quality education and knowledge mobilisation[1]. He has published a book recently from Routledge and his key research papers are published in high-impact journals such as British Educational Research Journal, Language and Education and Cambridge Journal of Education[1]. Manzoor has a PhD in education policy sociology and a PG Cert in Higher Education, both from University of Cambridge, UK and an AdvanceHE teaching fellowship[1]
