Dragon Empire is an upcoming American computer-animated action adventure film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and will be distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. It will be directed by Paul Briggs and Dean Wellins based on the screenplay by Kiel Murray.

In May 2018, it was reported that Walt Disney Animation Studios was developing an original animated film Dragon Empire, which would be a directorial debut by storyboard artist Paul Briggs and animator Dean Wellins. Kiel Murray wrote the screenplay, which would be produced by Osnat Shurer.[1][2] Film's main three characters would be Jan-Nin, Bolin, and Katsu; while Jamie Chung had shown interest to voice the lead character and the film might get November 2020 slate for the release.[1]
