"Dragon Fighting in the Wild" is a serialized work by the martial arts novelist Huang Yi since 2014. This book is the second part of "The Trilogy of the Tang Dynasty" and the sequel of "The Sun and Moon Are empty". Hong Kong is published by Huang Yi Publishing House, while Taiwan is published by Gaia Culture. Volume 1 was published on May 8, 2014, one volume being published every month, and volume 18 was published in October 2015. Its continuation is "Heaven and Earth Bright Ring".
Wu fiction story is set in the period leading up to the Dragon Revolution, but also with the description of "Jin Dynasty Battle of fertilizer after", "Bianhuangzhuanyue" khanate of "Twin Of Brothers", and to the Yuan, Ming for the space-time background the "Posuixukong", "Fuyufanyun" and other works role link.

The difference between Hong Kong version and Taiwan version
- The Taiwan version has a map of the Tang Dynasty at the beginning of the volume, while the Hong Kong version does not.
- The Taiwanese version will be given an ink-and-wash painting card for the first purchase of each volume. For example, the sixth volume of the scroll will be given a Futai ink-style painting card [3].
- The cover of the Hong Kong version was selected by Huang Yi to be worked on by Wan Yipeng. Like "日月当空", each volume can be put together in order to form a picture; but it is different from "日月当空" Ruan Ruiping was responsible for the design of the Hong Kong version. The cover of the Taiwan version is also selected by Huang Yi to be worked on by Wan Yipeng[4].
- The Taiwan version of the volume will be accompanied by a preview of the next and subsequent issues, but the Hong Kong version does not.
- The Taiwanese version has a table of contents for each volume, but the Hong Kong version does not.
