dragons mouth spring is a hot spring in Yellowstone near the mud volcano dragons mouth hot spring is connected to a cave which emits a loud roaring sound from the cave the reason the roaring sounds happen is that methane from the super volcano comes up that creates a bubble that pops because of the mass it's gaining than the bubble pops and creates waves inside the cave and the waves bang against the walls of the cave and those waves create that loud roar you hear. the reason it's called dragons mouth spring is because the cave in it is shaped like the mouth of a dragon and it sounds like a dragons roar coming out of the cave caused by waves and the black and brown water kind of reminds you of dragon scales
