"Dream Hoppers" is the second segment of the 26th episode of season 12 and the 267th overall episode of SpongeBob SquarePants. The episode originally aired on Nickelodeon in the United States on November 7, 2020. The series follows the adventures and endeavors of SpongeBob and his various friends in the underwater city of Bikini Bottom. In this episode, SpongeBob comes home tired and goes to sleep while dreaming about chasing a sentient Patty.
Plot[edit]
SpongeBob comes home tired from the concert and goes to sleep while Gary eats a krabby patty. In his dream, he is on a plane creating Krabby Patties but one of them becomes sentient and bumps SpongeBob out of the plane, he returns to see the Patty piloting it, he comes but the plane crashes through Larry, Mr. Krabs and Squidward's dreams, SpongeBob enters Patrick's dream and chases the patty, he and Patrick stumble into anthropomorphic tooth brushes, Pizza and other things, they party with them but Patty escapes to Squidward's Dream, they get chased by Squidward's drawings and end up meeting King Squidward, they escape and the episode ends by Squidward, Patrick, SpongeBob and the patty all dancing in a blue background.

The episode was written by Andrew Goodman, with Alan Smart and Tom Yasumi serving as animation directors. The episode was storyboarded by Benjamin Arcand and had David Cunningham serving as director.
Reception[edit]
Upon release, the episode were watched by 0.66 million viewers[1], it received positive reviews.
