Drive assist
Drive Assist[1] is an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS[2]) developed for Android mobile devices.
The mobile application uses experimental algorithms developed to assist people while driving, using their mobile phone’s built-in camera. The application detects on-road obstacles, including cars, pedestrians, bicyclists, and alerts drivers in case of an imminent crash. In order to use the software, the mobile phone must be placed inside the car in a windshield mount.
The application is in the final phase of development; early adopters can sign up for the beta release.[3]
