History
DualEntry was founded in 2024 by Santiago Nestares and Benedict Dohmen.[1][2] The platform provides tools for transaction categorization, bank reconciliation, and financial data processing.[3][4] It includes features for migrating historical financial data from legacy systems.[4] DualEntry has SOC 2 Type I and Type II certification and complies with IFRS, GAAP, GDPR, and CCPA.[5]
In May 2024, the company raised $6 million in seed funding led by Contrary, Carya Venture Partners, and Ludlow Ventures.[6][7]
In September 2025, DualEntry raised $90 million in a Series A funding round co-led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and Khosla Ventures, with participation from Google Ventures and Contrary,[8][9][10][11] valuing the company at approximately $415 million.[12][13]
