Duck & Goose is an American animated television series for Apple TV+, based on the series of books by Tad Hills. The series premiered on July 8, 2022.[1][2] A double-length special, "When Duck Met Goose," debuted June 9, 2023. [3]Season 2 premiered on July 7, 2023.[4][5]
Premise[edit]
Duck & Goose follows two best friends who learn to work together, despite their different personalities.

Production[edit]
The series is produced by Titmouse, Inc. and Jane Startz Productions. It is directed by Brian Muelhaupt, with Jane Startz, Douglas Wood, Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Ben Kalina, Antonio Canobbio and Tad Hills executive producing.[9] Sound design and mix were completed by Pomann Sound, with PostWorks handling the Dolby Atmos mix.[10] A trailer was released on June 28, 2022.[11]

Reception[edit]
Common Sense Media gave the show a four-star review. The staff reviewer, Polly Conway, said the "Gentle series promotes empathy, understanding, and fun."[12] The "When Duck Met Goose" special received a five-star review. [13] Writing for the Washington Post, Common Sense Media said "Parents will love the social-emotional lessons and pleasant tone, while preschoolers will enjoy the sweet adventures." [14]
Entertainment Weekly highlighted the series as "kid-friendly entertainment you might have missed."[15]
