Durval Queiroz Neto (Cuiaba, August 27, 1992), also known as Duzão, is an American football player who acts as a defensive tackle(now transitioning to Offensive Lineman) for the Miami Dolphins in the NFL. He is the first Brazilian athlete to join the NFL from the Brazilian Football Championship, all Brazilians who came before him were trained at the NCAA (Kicker Cairo Santos - Tulane Green Wave - Kansas City Chiefs ,also played for the Chicago Bears, Los Angeles Rams, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. )(Kicker Tony DiRienzo - Oklahoma Sooners - and in the late 1970´s Patriots,Steelers and Packers practice squads - not making to the league). He joined the NFL through the International Player Pathway Program, which gives 7 foreign players the opportunity to play in 4 league places. He starred in the NFL Undiscovered TV show, being streamed on Youtube-NFL NETWORK CHANNEL. He was a judo player, won titles, and played football for the teams of Tangará Taurus - BRAZIL, Cuiabá Arsenal - BRAZIL and Galo FA - BRAZIL. He played for the Brazilian National Football Team with the number 99 jersey. He studied agricultural technician and later graduated in Agricultural Engineering. He traded his career on family farms for the dream of playing in the NFL with the help of his agent, American Kenneth "KJ" Joshen Jr. He moved to the United States and took courses dedicated to football and the NFL Undiscovered program. He impressed the league with his drills times and numbers ,"RIDICULOUS PERFORMANCE" as said by the host of the show and also the NFL INTERNATIONAL - HEAD OF FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT ,Mr. William Bryce. He has specific drills times of the top-ranked athletes coming from the universities for the draft. He signed in 2019 for 3 years with the Miami Dolphins and tried a spot for the 2019 starting lineup. He was released during final roster cuts on August 31, 2019, but was immediately signed to the Dolphins practice squad on September 1, 2019, as part of the IPP Program. After remaining unclaimed in waivers, he was automatically assigned to the Dolphins practice squad for the 2019 season. [1] [2]

On 07/30/2019, during training camp, following the advice of the Miami Dolphins coaching staff, Duzão switched his position from defensive line DT to offensive line G (guard).
