Dwight W. Reynolds

Dwight W. Reynolds, FACC, FHRS, FAHA, is a tenured Professor of Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and Chief of the Cardiovascular Section of the Department of Medicine.

Reynolds attended the University of Oklahoma and the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma from 1970 to 1974, graduating with an MD. From 1974 to 1975, he was an intern in Medicine at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, Alabama and for two years after, was its resident. From 1977 to 1979 he was a Fellow in Cardiology at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Throughout 30 years of his career, Reynolds was affiliated with the University of Oklahoma and its Health Sciences Center. He also has served the American College of Cardiology on several national committees and was its Chapter President.[1] From 2006 to 2007, Reynolds served as President of the Heart Rhythm Society.[2]
