Dylan Ratzlaff (born March 26, 2001) is a Canadian dancer and actress, known for her role as Jacquie on the Family series The Next Step.
Career
Dylan Ratzlaff began dancing at the age of 3[1], and growing up, she competed in dance competitions around Canada[2]. In 2017, she began portraying the role of Jacquie on the Family Channel series The Next Step[3]. As part of The Next Step franchise[4], she has toured in Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom in 2019 on the Absolute Dance Tour (2019)[5]. Dylan Ratzlaff has also appeared in the Descendants 3 as a background dancer alongside her sister (Berkeley Gerth) and a few other castmates from The Next Step[6]. Dylan and her sister, Berkeley, created their YouTube channel "Sweet and Salty" on April 7, 2016, and have occasionally uploaded videos ranging from vlogs to reaction videos[7]. The name "Sweet and Salty" was also used as the title for the first episode that both sisters appeared on The Next Step. Currently Dylan is a dance teacher[8] for a dance studio in Vancouver[9].
Personal life
Dylan Ratzlaff is currently in a relationship with Logan Macdonald[10]. She is the middle child of three children[11] (Berkeley, herself and Mac Ratzlaff). On the YouTube channel "Sweet and Salty", Dylan Ratzlaff has revealed many facts about herself when doing Q&As[12]. Dylan and her family are very open to speaking about their faith in God as well as their childhood experiences.
