Dylan Wild (born September 16, 1997) is an American contemporary R&B singer-songwriter signed to ONErpm.[1]

Early life

Wild was born and raised in The Bronx, New York. He attended Sacred Heart High School. Developing a vocal focus during infancy, he began singing at age five drawing early creative inspiration from contemporary R&B figures such as Chris Brown and Usher. Throughout his youth, Wild consistently wrote and recorded original material. By age ten, he was actively performing current R&B hits at various local talent showcases across New York City. During his elementary to middle school years, he began tracking his earliest musical compositions from home using inexpensive computer microphones. Following the passing of his father from cancer in 2015, Wild committed to pursuing a professional career in music. To maintain total creative independence over his output, he spent his late teens teaching himself how to utilize audio engineering and recording software from home.

Career

Independent breakthrough (2018–2025)

Wild launched his music career in 2018 with the release of his debut single, "Flex". The track, written by Wild established his signature melodic delivery and earned him early comparisons to R&B singer Chris Brown. Over the next few years, he maintained a steady output of standalone singles, including "Phone" (2018) and "Temporary" (2020).

On September 15, 2023, Wild released the single "No Patience," co-produced by prominent hip-hop producer OG Parker. The single became a major commercial breakthrough for Wild, garnering millions of streams and securing premium placement on Spotify's curated editorial playlists, including Certi: R&B. He followed the release with "Emotions" in 2024 and "Energy" in 2025. By the end of 2025, his consistent independent singles output had generated more than 19 million global streams across digital platforms.

By mid-2026, Wild's independent catalog had surpassed 23 million cumulative streams across platforms, propelled by the consistent performance of his discography, which includes nine breakout singles that have each achieved individual multi-million and seven-figure stream milestones on Spotify.

ONErpm signing (2026–present)

In January 2026, music distributor and label ONErpm announced it had signed Wild to a global recording agreement under the management of industry executives George Ofori Ampadu and Luis Anthony.[1] Organized as a priority partnership, the deal granted Wild full access to ONErpm's international marketing, branding, and artist development infrastructure while ensuring he retained his foundational creative autonomy.[1]

Following the announcement, The Source labeled Wild "one of R&B's most promising emerging voices".[1] In early 2026, he released the single "Silent Treatment" as his debut major label campaign under the partnership.

Musical style and influences

Wild's music is characterized as a blend of contemporary R&B, hip-hop, and urban soul. His vocal range is classified as a tenor. He has cited Chris Brown as a core musical influence on his work.
