Dylan was born in California to parents Ryan and Meagan, and has a brother and sister.[1]

He grew up in Los Angeles and began singing at the age of eight. In 2015, Dylan posted the first video on his YouTube channel, Dylans_World, and began gaining a large following on the platform by posting video game and toy reviews.[6]

Dylan released his debut single, "Video Games", in 2017.[2] The song combines his two loves: music and video games. He collaborated on the single with songwriter Shari Short and producer Crash Cove.[2] He became associated with a group of young YouTubers and social influencers called Team 10.[5]

He released another single, "No Competition", in the fall of 2017 with fellow YouTube star and Team 10 member, Jake Paul.[5] The song's music video has more than 14 million views on his YouTube channel, Dynamite Dylan,[1] and nearly two million streams on Spotify to date.[5]
