Glenn Earle Fox Walker (sometimes credited as Earl Walker) was an American cinematographer who worked in Hollywood during the silent era.[1][2]

Biography[edit]

Earl was born in Oceanside, California, and adopted by Nathan Walker and Harriet Davis. His father worked in real estate, and his mother was an accomplished equestrian who rode in Buffalo Bill's shows. Earl married Clara McDonald in 1928; the pair had two children. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I, where he was injured in combat by gas contact and inhalation. He later returned to the United States and began working as a cameraman in Hollywood.
