The company was founded in 2019 by Dickson Lam.
In April 2021, EFFYDESK and ChopValue (a Canadian company that recycles chopsticks) with a goal to recycle 10 million chopsticks, thus the company is releasing environmentally friendly workplace furniture solutions during Earth Month..[2][3]

EFFYDESK produces various ergonomic furniture including; Standing desks and Office chairs.[4]
