About EPIC Event Center[edit]
As president and CEO of Festival Foods grocery stores, Mark Skogen has held to the value of giving back to the community. Outside of grocery, Mark’s passion is music. Because of this, he decided to open a music and entertainment venue.[3] “This opportunity came up, a friend of mine owned the building and I started thinking, wow, this is in a good location, hotels, restaurants. This is the right size, right ceiling heights and it got me really excited again to make this happen,” said Skogen.[4]
Adjacent to Green Bay’s Lambeau Field stadium district, the building occupies 25,000 square feet and can hold up to 2,100 people. Some of the industry’s biggest names weighed in on the design for the EPIC Event Center.[5] The live experience is designed to feel up-close and personal, despite the massive, 45’ x 35’x 4’ stage. The building interior includes three artist dressing rooms that consist of a bathroom, artist catering area, and dock for equipment transportation. Epic Event Center also houses other amenities, such as a workout facility and a half-size basketball court. The building comes with on-site parking and a raised ADA seating area.
In addition to hosting live concerts, comedy acts and productions, EPIC Event Center will also be available for private room rental to accommodate other various events.[6]
