eQube-DaaS Platform

eQ's flagship product platform, eQube-DaaS, is a low/no-code Data Integration and Analytics Platform.[2] The eQube-DaaS Platform claims to rapidly establish a robust, resilient, and scalable Data Fabric connecting disparate data sources, applications and devices across the enterprise leading to many integration solutions and enterprise-wide visibility which empowers organizations with Actionable Insight.[6]

eQube-DaaS Platform connects disparate data sources (COTS, GOTS, Legacy, NoSQL, files, streaming data, IoT, etc.) and provides application integration, synchronization, migration, and business analytics.[6] With eQube-DaaS Platform, data from any source can be aggregated using eQube®'s data virtualization layer and exposed as a Web service, REST service, OData service or APIs. eQube-DaaS solutions are offered in an Integrated Data Environment (IDE).[7]

As stated on the company’s website, the platform works with any data, any format, any API, any speed, with any system, any application, and any device. It enables secure, scalable, and robust information collaboration across networks, partners, suppliers, and customers that are geographically dispersed while honoring security rules. Due to the low/no-code nature of the platform, customers can attain faster time to value and avoid long drawn IT projects. The platform can be deployed exclusively on cloud, on-prem, in a hybrid manner (on cloud and on-premises) as well as on VMs and containers.

eQube-DaaS Product Suites

The eQube-DaaS Platform consists of two suites of products– the eQube® Integration Suite [8] and eQube® Analytics Suite.[9] Each of these consists of 3 products.

eQube Integration Suite

The eQube Integration Suite has capabilities to connect, integrate and migrate data with a comprehensive and efficient infrastructure for Common Data Model (CDM), APIs, enterprise application integration, federation, orchestration, synchronization, and data migration.[8] It provides rapid enterprise-wide integration of new and existing systems, as well as enables responsible and controlled sunsetting of obsolete legacy systems through efficient migration capabilities. [8] It includes eQube®-MI (for data migration and integration), eQube®-AG (for API life cycle management and API gateway) and eQube®-TM (transformation modeler for data model management and data transformation maps).[2] [8]

eQube-MI

eQube-MI offers solutions for application integration, synchronization, and migration.[1] eQube-MI synchronizes legacy systems with any go-forward system for migrating or responsibly retiring legacy systems. It also integrates multiple COTS (ERP, ALM, CAPP, MES, ESM, etc.) and home-grown systems.[10]

eQube-TM

eQube-TM offers visual capabilities for data mapping across systems with rules-based transformation features for large complex data models. It uses eQube's integrated data virtualization layer with semantics.[11] It is at the heart of establishing CDM (common data model) with digital persistence.

eQube-AG

eQube-AG delivers API life cycle management capabilities to create, publish, monitor, maintain, and secure APIs.[12]

The Integration Suite is a low/no-code integration platform that can be deployed on-premises, on the cloud or multi-cloud, and in a hybrid manner (on-premises plus cloud deployment) with virtual machines or containers. [8]

eQube Analytics Suite

The eQube Analytics Suite empowers you with powerful capabilities to leverage enterprise-wide data on demand. It is a low/no-code platform that enables users to prepare data, create models, run analytics, and represent data with stunning visualizations for actionable insights. It allows users to build, schedule and monitor fully customizable and configurable dashboards offering near real-time enterprise-wide insights. It consists of eQube®-BI (for Business Intelligence), that democratizes BI, eQube®-ADA (for Augmented Data Analytics), for auto data and schema discovery and eQube®-DP (Data Profiler) for data quality assessment.[9]

eQube-BI

eQube-BI offers solutions for analytics and business intelligence to provide a comprehensive view of a user’s data. It mashes-up and analyzes raw data from various data sources (Big data stores and data lakes) as well as core business systems (PLM, ERP, MRO, Supply Chain, Asset management, Logistics, ALM, etc.)[13]

eQube-ADA

eQube-ADA is powered by Machine Learning (ML) and Advanced Statistics techniques for automated data and schema discovery. Through advanced analytics, eQube ADA identifies patterns, clusters, anomalies, textual insights, forecasting, time series decomposition, and text similarity in data.[14]

eQube-DP

eQube-DP sifts through data for determining its composition and quality. It eliminates costly errors through its data correction /repair capabilities. It examines and evaluates the legitimacy of the data in legacy / enterprise systems and identifies its quality issues.[15]

eQube® Connectors

eQ has 85+ OOTB plug and play connectors that connect heterogenous systems. Each Connector is developed and certified by eQ.[16] Each Connector is developed leveraging the underlying application’s published APIs thereby ensuring data integrity in any of the solutions. No code has to be written in the Connector at the time of implementation and no developer has to know the exact working of each API used in the Connector. eQube Connectors are a core part of eQ’s Data Virtualization layer.[16]

eQube® Cloud

eQube® Cloud was launched on August 08, 2022. It is a low/no-code cloud solution which simplifies access to data integration and analytics solutions. eQube® Cloud is compatible with all types of data, formats, APIs, speed, applications, and devices. It brings together data across disparate systems by allowing users to access their data connect, integrate, and migrate data from disparate systems, federate, orchestrate, synchronize and mash-up data. It also helps, create APIs and 'For-Purpose' Apps, and get analytics in a visual format.[17]

History

In 1999, Technologic was formed as a software development center for QuestOne Decision Sciences, a management consultancy company in the USA. Shortly after, Technologic separated from QuestOne and was incorporated by Dinesh Khaladkar as eQ Technologic, Inc. (eQ) in September 2000 in Pennsylvania, USA.[5] During the early days the company built products/ solutions for clients across automotive, aerospace, pharmaceutical, and high-tech industries, predominantly in the US. In parallel, it worked on developing and releasing its first product, eQube-BI (Business Intelligence).[5]

eQube-BI was designed to allow users to mash up data dynamically from multiple sources in a report or a dashboard and play with the data cube like a Rubik’s cube in memory to get different perspectives of the same information.[1][5]

In 2004, eQube-BI got its first customer in Lockheed Martin Aero for their F35 program.[5]

In 2005, Siemens PLM Software and eQ technologic signed an agreement, allowing Siemens to sell eQ’s eQube-BI as “Teamcenter Reporting and Analytics” (TcRA).[5] Through TcRA, eQube-BI grew globally with thousands of eQube-BI customers worldwide.

eQube-BI /TcRA had the genesis to do much more than Analytics. Its data virtualization layer and connectors to different applications made it an ideal integration platform in the making.

After that, eQ focused on building and extending its platform from eQube-BI towards eQube-MI (Migration & Integration). In 2008, eQube-MI was launched with its first customer being BAE systems for their Typhoon program in the UK.[5]

eQ began successfully carrying out complex and large data migrations, integrations, and synchronizations to deliver enterprise-wide visibility. It continued to build the eQube-DaaS Platform and adding more functionalities.

eQ Technologic was recognized in the 2021 & 2022[18] Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Data Integration Tools with an Honorable Mention as the makers of eQube-DaaS, highlighting the low/no-code integration platform’s capability to create a data fabric for enterprises.

On August 08, 2022, eQ launched eQube-Cloud to further democratize access to powerful data integration and analytics solutions.[17]

In January 2023, eQ announced a partnership with AWS to create a secure and scalable data access and management solution offering integration and analytics capabilities across geographically dispersed networks, partners, suppliers, and customers.[19]
