ESL One Cologne 2019 is a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament run by ESL. In July 2019, sixteen teams from around the globe will compete in an offline (LAN) tournament that will feature a group stage and playoffs with a US$300,000 prize pool. It will be the third consecutive year since Cologne 2016 in which Valve decided to pass up on the historic tournament series as a Major host in favour of the StarLadder Major: Berlin 2019.

This tournament is the fifth tournament of the second season of the Intel Grand Slam[1], which a list of international premier tournaments run by ESL and DreamHack. Each team gets ten tournaments that it participates in to have a chance at winning four of them. The first team to win four titles earns an extra $1,000,000. Team Liquid (Intel Extreme Masters Season XIV - Sydney, DreamHack Masters Dallas 2019, and ESL Pro League Season 9 finals) leads the way with three wins. Astralis (Intel Extreme Masters XIII - Katowice Major 2019) is second with one win. ESL Pro League Season 9 - Finals (Montpellier) precedes the Cologne 2019 event.
