The eSkootr Championship ("eSC")[1] is an electric motorsport championship for two wheeled e-scooters. The series was conceived in 2020 in London by former Formula E champion Lucas di Grassi, Austrian former Formula 1 driver and motorsport entrepreneur Alexander Wurz, Lebanese motorsport entrepreneur Khalil Beschir and Hrag Sarkissian who is the CEO of eSC.[2] The inaugural championship race will be held in 2022.

Carlin Motorsport
In January 2021, Carlin Motorsport became the first team to announce their participation in the eSkootr Championship. This is the team's first involvement in a two wheeled series. [3]
Helbiz
Helbiz, Italian-American intra-urban transportation company became the second team to announce their participation.[4]
E-Scooter[edit]
The eSkootr S1-X electric scooter hits a top speed of 62 mph (100 km/h) and is powered by a pair of 6,000W motors. It has been developed by YCOM[5] and Williams Advanced Engineering.
