eWay-CRM is a CRM software developed by eWay System LLC as a MS Outlook add-in. It was made for small and mid-sized businesses and allows customer relationship management, project management, document management (DMS), HR management and more.
Modules[1]
eWay-CRM is organized into different modules, including:
Contacts
The Contacts module in eWay-CRM is completely separate from Outlook Contacts and provides a broader and more detailed overview of contacts. It also allows:
- linking emails (automatically or manually)
- creating notes from calls or meetings
- creating tasks and calendar events
- attaching documents
- linking contacts with Opportunities and Projects
- synchronizing with Outlook and mobile contacts
Companies
This module acts as a database of customers, suppliers and business partners. It provides an overview of all the activities with a particular company. It displays related contacts, opportunities (leads) and projects, as well as emails, journals, tasks and any other related items.
Deals
The Deals module is used for opportunities. It offers a workflow or different workflows for different opportunities. This allows users to move leads through the sales pipeline from the initial contact to the end. Workflows are fully customizable, leads can be converted into Projects, Companies or Contacts.
Projects
This module helps keep track of products or services. Projects can be created manually or by converting leads and emails.
Marketing
The Marketing module is used for sending personalized bulk emails as well as:
- Sending attachments
- Collecting statistics and seeing who clicked on your link
- Sending emails even if your Outlook is closed
- Linking your campaigns with Google Analytics
- Setting up delayed sending
- Using opt-out options
- Tracking unsubscribe reasons
Journal
The Journal is used to keep track of all notes, meeting minutes and phone calls. Journals are always linked with contacts, companies, leads or projects and it offers an option to automatically notify other users about new journal created for a lead or a project.
Documents
This module can be used as shared storage for different types of documents. Documents have workflows and the versioning option in case there is an approval process and automated notifications and tasks are required.
Emails
Emails can be saved to eWay-CRM automatically or manually. They are linked to contacts, leads or projects and accessible for any team member. Emails can also be converted into contacts, leads or projects.
Tasks and Calendar
eWay-CRM synchronizes both tasks and calendar events created within the Microsoft Outlook Task and Calendar. This is a two-way synchronization, meaning that updating one leads to an automatic update of the other.
Calendar events can be converted into Journal and tasks can be assigned to team members, allowing users to see everyone's tasks without sharing calendars.
Reporting
The Reports module can be used to have an overview of user attendance, sales team performance, projects timeline, leads without a next step planned etc.
