Early Stimulation is activity of contact or play with a baby or child that propitiates, strengthens and develops appropriately human potential at an early age. It takes place through the useful repetition of different sensorial events that increases the emotional control, giving the child a sense of security and enjoyment and they expand the mental ability that facilitates the learning, since it develops abilities to stimulate itself through the free game and the exercise of the curiosity, the exploration and the imagination.

When a child is provided with richer and wider alternatives, it flourishes their interest and abilities to learn notoriously. The stimulation is conceived as a direct, simple and satisfactory approach to enjoy, understand and know the infants by expanding the joys of parenthood and broadening their learning potential.[1]

Importance of Appliance[edit]

It's necessary to unleash the imagination of a child in a world created to discover. Not only can you paint, draw, paste and create, it is also possible to read stories as well as participate in movement activities.

It is important to provide an experience that is not only physically, socially and cognitively appropriate, but can also function as an opportunity for parents and children to learn and have fun together. Through art it is possible to create, imagine and grow, it is possible to do anything you can dream about.

Through Music[edit]

Music has recently been discovered as a good way to promote a child's integral development. Parents, pedagogues and psychologists have proven that music can be stimulated through language (oral and corporal), attention, concentration, motor coordination, follow-up instructions, the skills to synthesize and analyze, and creativity. In addition, the expression of emotions and feelings is strengthened and developed. Because children perceive and express themselves together, the auditory education will be carried out with other activities and in multiple ways: through movement, body percussion, gestures, vocal expression, drawings, colors and so on. If a child is fond of listening and learning music from an early age, there is a good chance that in addition to developing their superior faculties better (memory, attention, concentration, etc.), and thus become smarter in a more organized way.[3]

Through Painting[edit]

Finger painting is one of the activities children enjoy the most because their imagination is what is reflected on the paper. Finger painting plays a very important role in their development. It will help them avoid sucking their fingers or carrying anything they find in their mouths. To paint with your fingers, will amuse and enhance your tactile sensibility, your fantasy, and develop your coordination as well as your creative ability.

Through Dancing[edit]

After a child is born, they become more active and sociable. They like dynamic and surprising games, in some cases even abrupt, this exercise will be very fun, you just need fashionable dance songs. The exercise consists of dancing and singing with the baby to the rhythm of the music, making even exaggerated movements to emphasize some parts of the song (it can include laps, jumps, raise the arms, etc.), but the fun does not end there. Every now and then the music should stop unexpectedly, and you and your baby will be immobile in the position they are in at the moment, this will be a lot of fun for the baby. You will need the help of a person who can stop the music or, as an alternative, you could record the song including pauses. The baby will experience the rhythm of music which is a great help for language learning, the sudden pauses will cultivate the listening and attention skills in addition to favoring their social skills. Sudden immobilization will also favor their body balance.

Through Literature[edit]

Early reading stimulation refers to what children know about reading and writing before learning to read and write. When adults interact with children by talking, singing, playing; they stimulate the language development and vocabulary. Although these activities seem very simple, this is the fundamental basis for children's learning. Reading aloud stimulates the production of new brain connections and strengthens those that already exist in a baby's brain. Knowledge of the alphabet before entering kindergarten is a strong indicator of the ability to read in school. It is necessary to be present in each of the processes and to take advantage of the moments in which you interact with the children, to take advantage of the moments in which we can tell them about our experiences or magnificent stories where they are involved and can dream about, letting them know that they are part of that learning.

Through Writing[edit]

Children have the possibility to write in classrooms about their experiences. Before learning the letters, children's writing is highly symbolic and therefore significant. Children should live the experience of producing texts as experienced by writers by fine-tuning and correcting the role of the communicative situation and the recipients of the text. At an early stage, the child is able to draw if the elements to do so are provided, their drawings represent something and they can explain what they represent. However, at first they are not able to differentiate drawing from writing. If we ask for example to draw a ball or a house and then to write it down, the development of their skills in terms of drawing and writing will be similar.

Psychomotor Development[edit]

The development of the movements in order to achieve postures, palpate the objects that are around them recognizing them by their size, color, texture, among others, is divided into gross motor skill and fine motor skill. The gross motor area has to do with changes in body position and the ability to maintain balance. The fine motor is related to the fine movements coordinated between eyes and hands.
